Pastoral Care

Good pastoral care enables pupils to develop their self-confidence and self-esteem, both of which are essential if they are to become more independent academically and prepared to take responsibility for their own learning.

The pastoral systems at Morley House are established so that, during their time here, our pupils develop into caring, responsible, trustworthy, and well-behaved young adults.
Pupils are encouraged to respect each other, the staff and the buildings, by learning and accepting the standards of the school’s code of conduct.

The warm, family atmosphere of the school is created because our class teachers get to know their pupils very well and respond quickly to any unusual behaviour or changes in standards of work from anyone in their charge.
