I have been the Head of Lewes Old Grammar School for just over a decade, and I am proud of its development whilst I have been at the helm. Yet whilst there have been many changes to the fabric of the school, the nature of the school has remained constant: we are, and always will be, “a nurturing and trusting community, where the pupils come first, and a place which gets the most out of each child.”
We are co-educational in the truest sense of the word: pupils join our community and we learn together. All successes are celebrated and we work together to ensure challenges are overcome.
I am committed to ensuring we remain a school where each individual is known and cared for; a place in which our students achieve their academic potential, and whose pupils, when they leave, are at ease with themselves, and confident to face the challenges of life.
